Converter - 0-10V to ELV - 120 V(450W)/277V(1000W)

The LDCM-PL-120-277-010V takes a 0-10V dimming signal and a fixed line voltage input and converts it to a reverse phase dimmed output for up to 1000W for a 277V load and 450W for a 120V load. One LDCM-PL can be used per run up to the maximum wattage. The LDCM-PL can be used per run up to the maximum wattage. The LDCM-PL is rated to directly mount to a junction box in a plenum space for easier installations and to meet building requirements.

I have a Vantage DIN rail mounted Low-Voltage Output Station (LVOS) is used for the control LED, CFL, and CCFL lighting loads that requiring either 0-10 or PWM for dimming control. Could control the LDCM-PL with my Vantage module ?

Yes, your Vantage LVOS-0-10-PWM module can control the LDCM-PL (Linear Dimming Control Module - Plenum Rated). Since the LDCM-PL requires a 0-10V dimming signal and the LVOS-0-10-PWM provides exactly that, you can use the LVOS to control the LDCM-PL. Just ensure: You connect the 0-10V output from the LVOS to the dimming input of the LDCM-PL. The line voltage is supplied separately to the LDCM-PL as it handles the ELV output.

Can this be used to convert dimmed line voltage (output of a dimming motion sensor) to a 0-10vdc output signal to control flood lights?

The LDCM-PL-120-277-010V is not designed to convert dimmed line voltage into a 0–10VDC control signal. Instead, it works the opposite way—it takes a 0–10V dimming signal and uses it to control a reverse-phase dimmed line voltage output. It’s commonly used to control reverse-phase dimmable fixtures (such as LED or electronic low-voltage lighting) using 0–10V devices like LMRC room controllers. If you need to convert dimmed line voltage to a 0–10V signal, this device would not be suitable. You would likely need a different solution designed specifically for that type of signal conversion.

On the load side of this device do you need a separate neutral for lights or does the dimming just dim on the load hot?

Does this device require a switched hot? Will the ELV output turn off or go to a low end 1% / 5% / 10% when 0-10V dimming voltage falls to 1V or below?

The LDCM-PL requires 110-120 or 277 constant voltage. The performance will depend on the fixture. The LDCM provides dimming only, it does not switch. We would use it in conjunction with a room controller which would switch the load to off when the load is 0% in the DLM system.
