Questions & Answers

Can you use a 3 way splitter (t tap) to connect 2 relay packs together with a device like a switch or a occ sensor.

Asked by: Jc
Hi JC, You can connect multiple LMRC's together using any open port on a device. If no ports are available a good quality "T" tap can be used. Mostly all of our devices have more than one port on them.

How many occupancy sensors can I run off of this?

Asked by: Joel Eberle
For a room that uses the 110, 210, or 220 series wired controllers, you can connect a maximum of 48 DLM devices (including sensors), and 64 total loads (a room controller with more than 1 load counts as multiple loads but only 1 device).

I have 8 LMDM-101 and 1 only LMSW-105 connected to a LMRC-213, the owners are complaining of operation lag of the switches. Both the LMDM and LMSW will turn the fixtures on but dimming and to turn off are intermittent. Any trouble shooting ideas?

I would like to know if a LMRC-313 wattstopper is still a good part number or if it has been replaced with a new number.

Asked by: Anonymous
Good morning There is no LMRC-313, but if you are looking to purchase an LMRC control mudule that has at least three load outputs with 0 to 10 volt dimming there is an LMRC-213 available.

Can the controller be programmed to automatically turn on all zones to 50%?

Asked by: GH
The LMRC-213 cannot on its own be programmed to a level, but most LMSW-10X switches can be programmed as a scene switch, and that scene can be set to on at 50%. Please contact Wattstopper Technical Support @ 800-879-8585 fir more information

I have a LMRC-212 controller with the LMW-102 and LMDM-101 switches when dimming one load "lights" it dims the second set at the same time. Custome wants a second dimmer to dim one load at the time.

I suggest calling 1-800-879-8585 Option 1 for Technical Support. It is difficult to ascertain from this if this is an installation issue or a programming issue.

Can you program these to be auto on auto off?

Asked by: George
With a DLM occupancy sensor attached (a LMDC-100 for example), you can program the lights for auto on and off with occupancy. If you want to schedule auto on/off events, a LMZC-300 zone controller is needed.

Why is my LMRC 211 configuration light solid red When I click load A, it turns solid red and my devices on the network won't work(sensors, switches)

Asked by: gabrielcrpr
Usually when a configuration light is solid red, it is indicating there is a problem. The first troubleshooting step is to disconnect the cat5 connections and see if the LED returns to blinking every 3 seconds. If it does, there is likely a problem with the cat5 or the device connected to it. Please contact Wattstopper Technical Support @ 800-879-8585 for further troubleshooting assistance.

how to set up a lmrc-212 with 2 lmdm-101 in 3 way but each switch dims a separate zone

Asked by: Paul
You have to bind each switch to each load separately and unbind each switch switch that you don't won't for each load separately also. To do that, on all of the device there's a configuration button that you have to hold down for at least 3 seconds. It's not necessary to use the config button on all of the devices, you can do the programming from one device. On the switch there's a black button that's on the right side about 3/4 of the way down. On the LMRC the config button is right below the blinking red light. After holding the config button for 3 seconds the system goes into PnL mode ( Push and Learn). Once that happens all the devices connected together IR will start blinking red and load one will come on while load two turns off. This allow you to cycle from load to load to do your binding separately While load one is on look at the switch to see if the Blue LED is lit above the button. If the blue LED is lit then the switch is binded to load one, but if it's not then it's not binded to load one. To get the switch to bind to the load all you have to do is press the button on the switch to turn on the blue LED. The key is the Blue LED. Blue LED means it's binded. No blue LED it's not binded. Once you bind the switch to one load, next press the black config button one time and it will cycle to the next load and you repeat the process. When you're are done hold the config button for 3 seconds and it will take you out of the programming. Because you are doing it manually you have three minutes to do the programming or you will be kicked out of the programming and you will loose you setting. Just remember to get into PnL hold the config button for 3 seconds and to get out hold the config button for 3 seconds.

config. light not blinking on the controller. and wall switch unable to turn light on.

Asked by: serg
The LMRC is indicating that there is an error. There may be an issue with the cat5 connection or an internal issue with the controller. You can try resetting power to the unit. If issues continue, please contact Wattstopper Technical Support @ 800-879-8585 for assistance.

what is the strap with the brass clip used for?

Asked by: why_a_nickname
The purpose of the brass clip with the strap is for ease of installation. You can hang the room controller via the clip and strap to allow for the building wiring to be connected to the wiring of the room controller. That way you are not having to hold, balance or finagle the wiring or device while trying to install.

Can the LMRC's incorporate a time clock?

Asked by: Ed L
Yes, the LMRCs can be programmed to follow schedules as long as there is a clock in the system. The clock functionality is provided by the LMZC-301 Zone Controller, or the LMCP panel.
