What’s the weight rating for this box?

Thank you for your inquiry. The M118W is not rated for fixtures or ceiling fans and will not have a weight rating. M118W old work Metal box is rated for switch & Outlets.

Is there a 1/2 and 3/4 knockout on the top or bottom of this box?

Thank you for your inquiry. M118W will include 4 knockouts located on the sides, back, and bottom of the box. Product Description: Single gang metal box. Swing bracket for mounting adjusts 11/4" down to 1/4". Four 3/4"/11/4" KOs plus integral Romex clamp.

We're using a recessed 3 gang tv box but would like to swap out the metal 1 gang box for a shallower one. Which shallow metal box will work with the recessed tv box?
