After installation the wind gauge never updates. It always reports 2mph, ENE, no matter how hard the wind is blowing (there was a storm yesterday and it never updated)

I need the mount that is attached to. I want the straight one. The website didn’t say I needed it. How do I find the strait one and not the side mount. Why didn’t the order say I needed to order separately.
