Specializing in VRF, VRV, Split Systems, and heat pumps, CoolAutomation solutions elevate climate and IoT technologies. Their products connect to the local network using open communication protocols to enable seamless HVAC integration, remote management, service, diagnostics, and universal system control.

Q: What Vantage products provide full HVAC control through CoolAutomation?
The Equinox touchscreens (EQ41, EQ73) and EQ mobile app offer full HVAC control, in addition to motion sensor and timer support
Q: Can the EQ40 digital keypad control HVAC systems through CoolAutomation?
The EQ40 is limited to offering setpoint and HVAC mode, and sets HVAC parameters by assigning it to a digital keypad button
Q: Can Vantage keypads be set up to control HVAC through CoolAutomation?
Keypads can be setup to operate HVAC parameters through the standard HVAC control procedures in Design Center
Q: Can the EQlite app control HVAC systems through CoolAutomation?
Not at this time
Q: What CoolAutomation devices are compatible with Vantage?
The Vantage InFusion communication driver is compatible with the following CoolAutomation Edge devices:
- CoolMaster Product Line (CoolMasterNet, CoolMaster, CoolMasterPro)
- CooLinkHub (with CoolPlugs)
- CooLinkBridge (with Radiant Heat, Conventional Thermostats, etc.)
Q: Can an existing Vantage project be updated with CoolAutomation for HVAC control?
Yes, existing projects can be updated with CoolAutomation
Q: Does CoolAutomation rely on connection to a cloud?
There are no external cloud-based connections, allowing the connection to remain robust

Q: What is installation like?
CoolAutomation’s Edge devices connect directly to air conditioning systems via two wire communication lines, and communicates with Vantage over a TCP port connection on the LAN
