WMPAC526 In-Wall Storage Box

The WMPAC525 and WMPAC526 simplify flat panel installation by providing an organized, recessed space for routing excess cables and for attaching surge protectors/power conditioners. The addition of the flange adds an aesthetic trimmed appearance and drywall mounting capability.

Compatible with the PST, PRO, PLP, MSR, MTR, MWH, MWR, PWR, PNR, PDR, Thinstall, and FUSION wall mounts.

Looking for a suggested mount to use with this box WMPAC526 for a 55" television. Need to access the box so articulating would be preferred. TV is in patient room so low profile is also a concern.

Can these be installed in a shaft wall assembly? I see UL listing but no rating.

Hello Anon, The WMPAC525 is a cULus Listed, Audio/Video, Information and Communication Technology Equipment Cabinet, Enclosure and Rack Systems, File Number E309432, Guide NWIN. They are for typical interior stud or drywall installation. Depending on what the shaft wall assembly provides in terms of ratings, these boxes are not permitted in fire rated wall.
