These switch plates look so polished and the colors are fantastic. So much easier to wire and install than normal switches and plates. I am slowly retrofitting the whole house with Legrand switches and plates.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great subtle color... in bright light The plate is a standard Adorne (which means really good, IMHO). The thing here is the color. Bleu-noir means blue/black, and that is what it is. When I got it and saw it in my bright kitchen, it was beautiful. But its location was in a room with less light. The black totally takes over there. So go for it if you can place it in a bright location.

Upgraded all six faceplates to Adorne Bleu Noir. New Adorne switches and receptacles. Painted the cabinets in the same blue. For little money, the bath now looks modern and classy. While not inexpensive, state of the art engineering, electrical design and quality. You will get complements
