Rated 5 out of 5 by from Neat lines and easy to work with I bought 200 of these outlets for a new house project. They look great in a contemporary design, and are easy to install. The sloped sides around the screw terminals makes it easy to curl a wire around the screw and hold in-place while tightening the screws. Color coded screws make polarity obvious, and the screw head quality makes alignment of a driver easy in tight corners. Nice solid feel to inserted plugs. Looks great with the screwless face plates. Great product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good receptacle, but diaappointed I bought several of these to compliment the backsplash because of the Graphite color, a dark grey matte finish. A good receptacle. The disappointment is that the same graphite color in the collection does not match the receptacle, not good. The also don't offer a full blank cover in the collection either so had to paint that one a flat black that matches pretty well

Is the black color a true black or more of a dark grey? Do you make a dark grey/graphite color?

Can I run a multiwire branch circuit to a duplex receptacle if I remove the tad on the ungrounded conductor side of the device? This would be two separate 120-volt circuits (240 hot-to-hot) sharing a neutral, fed from a 2-pole breaker.

Is this outlet a replacement for your old SC85 which says to replace with SC85R? If not will it work in its place? I bought a 2014 5th Wheel and one of the outlets is bad.

Can I put half of a 15 amp Radiant outlet on a switch?

Hi Greg. Yes you can. You'll just have to remove the split circuit tab in order to create a half-controlled receptacle.

I am looking for switches and outlets in dark almond. Light almond is too light. if the Radiant Brand does not carry a darker almond, do you know of a brand that does? Thank you

Hello, "Dark almond" is not a color option we offer in any of our collections. We do have "nickel" and "dark bronze" options however. I would suggest taking a look at those to see if they'd be appropriate in your application.
