Questions & Answers
Does this switch come in light almond? It looks like the package comes with 3 interchangeable colors.
I had this sensor installed in the garage by the electrician that installs all my Legrand Adorne switches in the house (original wifi and new netatmo). He's followed all instructions for 3-way install, the lights flash on for a second then turn off. Why?
In a 3-way installation (with a companion 3-way occupancy sensor), how is the on/off button supposed to work? Currently, I have two sensors (one master, one remote) installed on the same 3-Way circuit and the on/off button will only turn off the lights.
Are these lights able to be set so that when I walk in the room they turn on ? I believe that’s occupancy mode however my switches are not allowing me to change the setting off manual per the instructions. Can you help ?
Is there a interchangeable faceplate in black?
How do I adjust the time delay?
The switch I removed had a red, black, brown and green wire this has a red, black, green & blue/white. I put the blue white to the ground it works but light comes on with no motion. Outlet in series test bad ground.
Follow-up to previous question: Also found that if I turn load OFF at regular 3-way switch, I cannot turn it ON from sensor. I hear a faint click and locator LED dims slightly, but LED does not go out and load does not turn on. Have to turn on from 3-way.
Using sensor w/ regular 3-way switch, wired per instructions. After turning off light from sensor switch, if I flip the standard 3-way, nothing happens. Flip it AGAIN, then the load turns on. Any ideas?
Also, can these sensors be installed in a 4 way setup, but only using 1 or 2 sensors instead of all 3?
I have wired two sensors together in a 3- way. It works OK, but it seems like if I'm in one area (near just 1 sensor), the other sensor will turn the light off because it hasn't detected motion during the time delay. Is this a known issue?
I had to install these for code but I need a way to turn the sensor off, so I can press to turn on but it won't turn on by itself. Can you help?
Hi, I am confused by the instructions on the existing 3 way switch. Am I supposed to: 1. Leave the runner wire attached. 2. Ground one of the poles on the switch. 3. Cap off remaining wire? Can you provide a diagram or picture? Thanks.
I'd like to place this sensor above the door, inside the room that I want the lights to be controlled. How does the sensor work? I cannot find detailed specs on it. Will it pick up motion below it?
how to reset the switch?
Will the switch go during the day with motion if room is already illuminated by sunlight?
I am looking for one of these but in 277V
What is the correct way to wire two of these switches as a 3-way circuit. Switch one will be the power source, with a three wire cable going to the next switch and then two wire cable going to the light.
I can get my switch into Time Adjustment mode by holding down the on/off button for 10 seconds, but I can't get to Working Mode by holding for 15 sec or LED mode for 25 sec. Is there something I'm missing here?
My Lagrand was working fine. I moved it to a location on my stairwell that will make it work sooner. I lengthened the wire about 18". Red to load and black to hot. It is grounded. LED not on. hold on off 10 seconds 15 seconds 25 seconds, nothing.
Is the interior of the motion sensor cover accessible such that you can insert tape to reduce the area of coverage (vs. taping the outside which is not as aesthetic)?
If I want to reduce the degrees of detection for a stairway (so it only comes on when someone starts up the stairs vs. everytime one passes by the stairs), can I use white electrical tape to partially cover the sensor?
Any way to 'manually' turn on the switch and not have it time out and turn off. I've installed it in my garage and love the way it works until I'm under the hood of a car and the lights go off!
Why did the designers of this model remove two of the most valuable features, the ability to turn the load off in any setting, and the ability to fine tune the delay to two minutes? Is there a model that still has these capabilities?
I have a bluetooth bathroom exhaust fan (no light just fan) I'm running new wiring throughout the bathroom. Can I use this sensor
Will the model RRW600UTCCCV4 control one or two CFL fixtures in 3 way mode? All the documentation online does not say. The packaging makes is seem as though the switch will only work with an led. Afraid to open if I'm going to need to return.
Can we please get some clear, explicit clarification of ALL wires in a 3-way circuit? Please include all three colored wires on the Legrand unit, as well as building wiring (for those of us used to standard 3-way wiring).
Wiring 3-way, does each switch maintain ON according to its own programming, independent of other switches? Or does it work like a standard 3-way, where each switch can turn ON or OFF regardless of other switches? -->I need to maintain ON independently.
Does this switch sense daylight so the light will not turn on?
How do I reprogram the RRW600U?
