this is a single gang WP box, so probably wont fir 3 gang WP covers per your description above?
Correct, the WPBD23 is a single gang weather proof box so it will only work with single gang weather proof covers.

Will the 69W75 locking watertight single receptacle, nema 3R 30 amp 250 volt, NEMA L15-30R fit in this box? It's a Pass& Seymour "Legrand ".
