Are the 7802MD and 7803MD manual motor controller devices rated for outdoor use, as safety switches, when installed in a weatherproof box and with a weatherproof cover? Do you have UL or other documentation supporting this application?
Thank you for your inquiry. We offer the 7832MD & 7833MD, which include a NEMA 3R Enclosure. The switch part numbers 7802MD & 7803MD are listed for UL508.

Why does the cut sheet say suitable for ring terminals (unstaked screws)? The ratings resistance sheet contradicts this and says do not back out screws on 30A device.

Can the 7803MD be used on a 28VDC circuit to disconnect battery power to DC motors?

What is a short circuit rating of the manual controller without any class J upstream fuses protecting it.
