So, weird question... Is the switch and dimmer hard wired for internal use? Or do they correlate with one of the plugs? I have a project that needs external plugs, but need to wire up 2 led strips internally.

Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. The paddle dimmer will control the lighting load connected to the outlet on the back of the FPC. Please refer to page 4 of the installation instructions located on the product page.
