Questions & Answers

What hardware is available to install equipment inside the box? There are a variety of hole types, but I don't see a way to use them.

Look to the Structured Wiring catalog to find the multitude of ways to attach devices in the enclosure. https://legrand.webdamdb.com/directdownload.php?ti=94395574&tok=m/hrHqyxBHwdJXGU90Dk9wRR

How many each of a AC1015 and AC1068 will fit in a ENP4250NA enclosure?

Asked by: Steve
You can fit 12 "2-bay" modules in a 42" enclosure. You can fit 24 "1-bay" modules in a 42" enclosure. The AC1015 is a 2-bay module. The AC1068 is a 1-bay module. You can fit more cables using AC1068 modules. The cable terminations will look much neater with AC1015 modules since they terminate from the rear. All the end user will see is the 8P8C female connectors on the front and the cables are completely hidden on the rear. The AC1068 modules are much easier to terminate though since you can punch directly into the module. I hope this information is helpful.

Can you cut these into an existing drywall wall? I am wanting to add one of these to my house and I really don't want to strip off and re-drywall the wall around it?

Asked by: bfrantz96
You can, but it will require a little patchwork. The enclosure mounts to the face of the 2x4 stud via approximately 2" tabs with slots and holes for screws. You would cut notches in your drywall to accomodate those mounting tabs, fasten the enclosure and then patch the notches you cut out.

What accessory can I add to provide some sort of latching on the door. For now door is held by hinges on one side and 2 screws on other. Unscrewing every time to open the cabinet is not convenient.

Asked by: Rajesh
part 364487-01 is a lockset for this enclosure part AC1019 is a latching knob that does not need a key

what are the inside clear dimensions? Will the plastic 30" and 42" cabinet provide 4 1/2" clearance inside?

Asked by: Bill Todd
Closer to 4.25" at the edges, 4.5 in the center. The door has a slight dome shape and provides a bit less clearance at the edges.
