Re Nuvo simplese whole home audio system. The power supply board seems to have a blown component labelled RV2, please advise what this is so that I can replace it. The system is not powering on at all as a result.

Recently purchased a home with a Simplese system and need to purchase a receiver. Can I purchase a 2 channel or is a multi a multi channel required? Any recommendations?
I also recently purchased a home with a Simplese system. Each audio zone is stereo so a two-channel receiver with preamp outputs should work fine. I already had a Marantz SR6010 receiver which is ideal for my setup because we also have a 7.1 speaker system in our family room. The Marantz receiver has two independent zones so I use the second zone as the input to my Nuvo system. This allows us to watch TV or a movie in the family room while playing Pandora internet radio in other rooms at the same time. The Marantz receiver isn’t cheap but I think you should be able to find less expensive receivers that will allow you to do the same thing.
