JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America is a luxury hotel, in fact, a AAA Four Diamond hotel, connected directly to the popular Mall of America. In just a few steps, travelers can experience the magnitude of this 500+ store retail giant that offers a memorable amusement park right in its heart and endless dining options for everyone.
This large property is used to the hustle and bustle, as its typical guest is actually a family of four seeking a wide range of entertainment nearby. Because each family member is likely to travel with a phone or tablet, JW Marriott Mall of America wanted to add convenient power and charging right by the bed. It can be frustrating for guests that need to find an outlet if all of them are limited to the wall. Instead of searching on the floor, the property wanted to make outlets and USB ports available within arm’s reach.
The adorne® Furniture Power Center is an elegant, sophisticated way to add power and charging to the hotel guest room—without being too flashy. For JW Marriott Mall of America, this was the perfect solution.
adorne devices were installed in each guest room with strategically-placed Furniture Power Centers by the bed and desk so travelers can easily reach the outlets and ports that they need. JW Marriott Mall of America also opted for the luxurious oil-rubbed bronze finish to make the wall plate a statement item in the rooms.
Legrand worked in conjunction with Design Force out of Denver, CO. Additionally, it was important to work closely with the furniture vendor to ensure proper installation. All logistics were coordinated with the owner and general contractor, and the teams collaborated well to stay true to the vision.
When it first opened, guests raved about the adorne Collection. In fact, many of them asked the hotel staff where they could buy the devices and wall plates for themselves.
With over 1,000 Google reviews and an overall rating of 4.5, the JW Marriott Mall of America is an exceptional property for families that want to be close to the action and stay connected with their devices.
