Can the WP3476-BE-V1 also be used with Cat 5E? If not, why?

While the first answer said yes, I think they failed to realize that the punch down terminals for CAT6 are designed for 23AWG wire while CAT5e is made up of 24AWG wire. Your connection is likely to fail because the smaller diameter wire may not fully seat into the connector.
