Designed to be used with the Infinium HD Enclosures, this MPO to LC angled Quad 8-fiber cassette supports Single-Mode (OS2) fiber. This M8 fiber optic, pre-terminated cassette provides the same swift deployment as our M4 products. The housing offers additional durability and integrated bend limiting considerations to ensure optimum optical performance. The Base 8 configuration of this cassette matches the fiber utilization of the majority of transceivers, providing for 100% fiber utilization. This makes these cassettes an ideal match for Ethernet transmission ranging from 40G to 400G. The Universal Polarity method enables simple connections of multiple trunks without affecting polarity. Like Methods A, B, and C, the universal polarity management method facilitates migration to parallel optics. Wired modular system components enable quick and simple networking moves, adds, and changes without polarity concerns associated with polarity-compensating components used in Methods A, B, and C. Tier 2 performance characteristics of this cassette produce a typical insertion loss of 0.60db. and a return loss of 54dB.
