I have signal in from router. Now how do I get signal out through the switch?
Hello, If you have a CAT5 coming from your router plugging into any one of the 8 ports, the remaining 7 ports would then act as outputs. You can run those CAT5 cables to individual devices to provide internet connectivity. Nothing else is needed to have the switch work. I hope that helps. Thank you.

Can the EEE be turned off? My WiFi mesh (Orbi) is purported to have problems with EEE switches. The Orbi devices will be set up to backhaul on ethernet through this switch.

Can you daisy chain to get more ports?
Hello, It's best to come off of an additional port on your router and then feed that into a second 8 port switch. You can daisy chain but its best practice not to. Thank you.

I have 2 older 10/100 switches in my panel currently and looking to to update to 1000 switches. My old units have a power input on the back and I have them daisy chained to a single power connector. Is there a power connector on the back?
It sounds like you may have one of our older US Tec panels that used a daisy chained power connection infrastructure to power those items. Those units are no longer in stock.
