Can this box be used on a horizontally mounted electrical box?

Mounting is horizontal will not effect it's Nema 3R rating but it will effect the way it opens and the cord opening placement.

Is WIUCAST2 suitable for permanent outdoor residential installation? Your SPECIFICATIONS and your "Cutsheet" as of Oct 13 2025 say "Weatherproof" and "Indoor" but "Outdoor" is not shown.
