Rated 3 out of 5 by from Helpful I have tried both the plug-in and in-wall devices from this company and while I like both products, I prefer the plug-in type for simplicity and portability. I had a bit of difficulty getting them to sync up with the app initially but after some troubleshooting, got it figured out. The compatibility with my Alexa devices was a must and they work great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely amazing. I loved this inwall dimmer for adjusting lights brighter or dimmer, no need to get out of your chair just select from phone App or Alexa to dim or turn the lights up brighter. The technology is great. Whats not to like about it, in addition you can operate fromswitch itself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good product I have used similar items in the past, and this one I had the toughest time installing. I had to reference tutorials and YouTube plus a fair bit of trial and error to get it working. Hopefully your install is easier than mine was.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs work I have had this for about 2 months now and it is a very finicky switch. It was easy to install but very difficult to get it to sync with the app. Once it is synced it may lose connection about once a week. It has gotten somewhat better but hoping for better stability

Please provide the part number and availability for the nickel color HMR that pairs as a remote for this WWRL50NI.

The HMR Remote dimmers have color change facekits available so you need the HMRKITNI to make it Nickel to match the WWRL50NI. It is available now for purchase: https://www.legrand.us/search.aspx?q=HMRKITNI

Can you change the phase of the wwrl50 from forward to reverse without using the smart phone app? The app continuously closes when I try access the device settings.

Asked by: GregS
The only way to change the dimmer phase is through the app. I would suggest contacting Tech Support to help trouble shoot your APP issue. Radiant products 1.800.223-4162 opt 3 Mon - Fri: 8am - 8pm EST (excluding holidays) Email Us - tech.support@legrand.us

If I intended to only dim from one location can this switch be used with conventional Legrand three-way switches.  This is how my existing Legrand sliding dimmer switches are wired.

Asked by: Disappointed
The Smart Lights dimmer(WWRL50WH) can only be paired with the HMRW(remote dimmer) for a 3way application.

One of the switches I intend to use this on is a 3-way switch. Do both switches need to be smart switches? Or can I leave my other switch as is and install only this one?

Asked by: Bobby
To use the Smart dimmer in a three way you need to wire it up with a Radiant HMR multi location dimming remote.

Will this dimmer work with a ceiling fan? I currently have a basic dimmer switch to turn on and control the speed of the fan there is no light with the fan. So just need on/ off and speed control.

Asked by: Matt23
This product is only intended to control Lighting loads. It is not designed or rated to control the speed of a fan. You can certainly to control the Light with this product but it is not intended to control a motor load like a fan.
