Rated 1 out of 5 by from Illustration with instructions is wrong The illustration on the outside of the package clearly shows installing this box with one device with a line in and a line out. (4 conductors plus EGC.) I believe that configuration is illegal by the NEC 2017 box fill calculations. The box volume of 11.9 cu in is stamped inside the box and not visible until after you purchase and open the product packaging. The volume required for 4 conductors and 1 ground using #14 AWG conductors is 10 cu in. The volume for the device counts as 4 cu in. This is a total volume required of 14 cu in, where the box is only 11.9 cu in. This box is only suitable for one device at the end of the line, where power is not fed to the next device in line as shown in the illustration. In that case, with #14 wire, the required volume is 10 cu in, which is legal for the box labeled as 11.9 cu in. Even this configuration is not legal with #12 wire.
