Great Upgrade To My Modern Home
The Wave Switch works perfectly and looks even better. It gives off a very modern and high tech feeling. Being able to adjust the distance your hand needs to be to trip the switch is a great feature. I bought the Wave Switch to be used in my bathroom. I thought it would be a great to reduce the spread of germs. It's one less thing that has to be touched. Only advice I have is to be sure not to hang a hand towel in front of it as that will trip the sensor.

I bought the Wave switch because I have OCD which causes me to not like to touch things only if they are disinfected which causes extra work for me on my daily routine unfortunately. This has helped cut back a few minutes to free up some time in my day for me. I wish the company made a two and three toggle switch waves for the living room and kitchen lights. If and when they do I will definitely purchase them. Thank you Adorne for making my life a little easier

Does this switch have a timer? If it does, is there a way to adjust the timer?
Hello,
The ASWV1532W2 is designed specifically to be engaged by waving your hand in front of the switch to turn your load on/off. The distance can be increased or decreased based on user preference in relation to how close you need to wave at the switch.
We recommend our adorne Motion Sensor Switch (ASOS32W4) for auto on or off applications.

Installed Wave Switch on a 3/4hp Garbage Disposal. The garbage disposal stays on and Wave Switch will not turn off. Does the hp of the garbage disposal affect the ability to turn off the garbage disposal?
The Wave switch is electronic so it needs to be properly Grounded or it will not operate. Make sure you have the switch snapped into the metal mounting frame that is connected to Ground.

Yes the Wave switch will fit into the 2 gang control box.

Is there a way to adjust the amount of time it takes to dim lights? I would like for the lights to slowly dim up to a pre-set level, similar to what the Legrande Maestro Occupancy Sensor can do.
The Wave switch is strictly ON/OFF so it does not have a dim setting adjustment.

I have a 4 way switch setup in a closet. Homeowner bought wave switch’s. Is there any thing to work in place of the 4 way switch?
You can use two 3way Wave switches and one 4way Paddle switch, ASPD1542W277.

Will there be a Wifi version of this switch at any point just to be seamless with other Wifi switches?
We currently do not have any plans to add the Wave switch to the Wi-Fi Ready line of devices.

Will the wave switch work with LED can lights lighting a staircase? What is the maximum distance adjustment for the wave to work?
The Wave switch will work on any type of light load and the sensitivity range is 1 to 6 inches in front of the switch.
