Rated 4 out of 5 by rkon from Very Sleek and Functional Dimmer! I've put this in my new house in place of many old rotary knobs that were installed probably a while ago. The dimmer works very well for most fixtures. We had incandescent type fixtures in most cases and it works very well with the LED replacement bulbs that we bought. However, we did update one fixture to a pure LED flushmount fixture and I noticed there was some flickering at mid-level dimming. I think we can work with it, but would be nice to have the full range of dimming as an option. I suspect it's just a low resistance issue as I only have one fixture on that dimmer. Just something to keep in mind if you are looking at this dimmer. But all in all, it's great to have the ease of use of a paddle switch with the dimming slider in one device.

The ones I had before hummed when dimmed down and these have not done that at all to me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sam_t from Nice switch upgrade This switch was very easy to install and is definitely an upgrade over standard flippers. The small LED light that shows you were the switch is in the dark is a nice touch. My only complaint is that it's still plastic. At the higher price, I was hoping the face would be aluminum and not plastic meant to look like metal. But in general I'm happy with the switch and it's functionality and looks.
