What a handy feature!
The USB Charger in this Duplex Outlet is such a simple idea and an extremely handy feature, all outlets should be like this now!
No need to find my charger anymore, just plug the cable right in. I LOVE this!!
This outlet was easy to install, it just took a few minutes. Just a few minutes to add so much convenience to my life? Yes, Please!
Again, I love this feature and it needs to be an outlet standard!
The Graphite color compliments the color decor of my house, it just blends right in.

Faulty Design - Do Not Purchase This Item
We built a brand new home. We chose Legrand switches and outlets for our entire home. We had fifty-four white Radiant USB Charges with Duplex 15A Tamper-Resistant Outlets installed. We are now having all of them replaced, just six months later. The tamper resistant feature makes the outlets almost impossible or, in some cases, literally impossible to use. The feature blocks the ability to insert a plug into the outlet. There is a definite design flaw in this product. Stay away!!!

Love these outlets because they keep everything just a bit more organized and streamlined. The product is of high quality and is a nice upgrade for my dated home.

Questions & Answers
Do the USB outlets provide for fast charging>
Depot has a 6amp plug legrand black model instead of this 3.2 amp one. Didn't find it on this site tho.

is the TM826USBDBCCV4 compatible with a modified sine wave inverter?
We feel it should work fine but we cannot guarantee at this point as it has never been tested for that application.

Why wont this receptacle accept a dual blade plug without a ground prong? Every lamp I've seen has only 2 blades. The blades only go so far and then they won't go any farther. Very disappointed.
Inserting a plug into one of the new "Tamper Resistant" receptacles can be a challenge. I find that if the plug is tilted to one side or other the plug will insert. I haven't read the theory behind what makes a receptacle "Tamper Resistant", but this works for me.

Is there a 20 amp version of this?

I opened up my old outlet, the wiring is aluminium, is this product safe for use? Also what material are the screws which connect the wiring made of?
The USB outlet is rated for #14 AWG – #10 AWG copper conductor only and the terminal screws are Tri-Drive Zinc-Plated Steel with either Clear or Black Chromate for color identification.

I have 2 hot wires, 2 neutral wires and a ground wire. Can 2 wires be installed under the one pressure plate? Ex. 2 wires to the hot line A and 2 wires neutral side. Your wiring diagram just shows 3 wires. There are no videos with this information.
If you are providing power to a receptacle downstream from the USB outlet you would double up your wires under each terminal(2 black wires to brass and 2 white wires to silver).
If you have a Split circuit(2 HOT wires), the USB outlet can not be used seeing it does not have that capability.

Can I simply install a straight wire under the screw plate? I don’t see how I could wrap the wires and fit them under the plate.
Yes this item allows for back and side wire. You can either wrap around the screw or put the wire in straight under the pressure plate and tighten it down.

With only one hot screw and one white screw can another receptacle be hooked to it or does it have to be the last receptacle on the circuit? Thanks.
Two wires on one screw lug is not code in USA. You can wire nut the 2 wires together with a pigtail wire out to the plug.
