The hinged door and trim ring easily attach to the ENP2080-NA plastic enclosure and is reversible, allowing the door to swing from right or left, adding flexibility to the installation. Purchase during the project trim-out phase to complete installation. The hinged door has extra venting along the center plane of the door to keep components cool and in lockable with provided screws or optional lock.

Can this plastic door be used with the steel EN2000 enclosure to extend the depth for cable headroom or is it only compatible with a plastic enclosure? If not, is there a cover compatible with the EN2000 to add depth?

There is not a depth extender for the EN2000. There is one for the EN2800 and EN4200 however. Refer to the attached page from the Structured Wiring and Connectivity guide.
