Rated 5 out of 5 by from Legrand Adorne Loft Conversion We love the Adorne Locator Lights that can be added to any switch as needed. We saw Legrand Adorne switches and outlets in a new house and decided to upgrade our loft by replacing all the switches and outlets with Legrand products. Legrand has a product for every situation from basic to more unusual from USB-C ports to fan speed controls. We're about a third of the way through the conversion and it really makes a huge difference. Our loft looks more high-end for an affordable price. The switches and outlets are easy to change out from the old ones. Not having screw-heads showing looks so nice. The Legrand products will surely improve our property values.

what is the difference between the RCDLMCC8 vs AALSL6?

RCDLMCC8 is for radiant products. AALSL6 is for Adorne products such as paddle, whisper, and push switches and dimmers.

Does the locator light AALSL6 work with single paddle? (I have 2 half-size module switches in one - aspd1531w4). The hole in the back of the half size switch does not seem to fit the locator light.

I wired up a locator light for a 1-pole operated ceiling fan. Wired to 1-pole and 3-way per the instructions. The light will come in very weak and then fade out. I’ve wired other 1-pole switches the same with no issue. Is there a way to resolve this?

Hello, Please wire the locator light leads as follows: -1 lead to hot -1 lead to neutral This wiring method will always leave the locator on in your specific application due to being connected to a ceiling fan. Best Regards, Justin

Yesterday I installed a standard paddle switch and installed the locator light - which I tested to be sure it was lighting, and it is not visible through the switch when installed. Is there some way to test the switch light transmission and remedy this?

What is the difference between locator light model numbers AALSL6 & AALSL277?

The difference between the two is AALSL6 is rated for 120V circuit and AALSL277 is rated for 277V circuits?

Is there a way wire the locator light (single-pole/single switch configuration) so locator light is ON when light is on? I have a closet with switch on outside and light gets left on at times. Seeing locator light on would be a reminder that it is on.

To wire the Locator Light as a Pilot Light(lit when on), you need to connect one of it's leads to the 1pole terminal and one to a separate Neutral wire.
