Questions & Answers
Will this work with a 3 wire system a black wire, red wire, white wire and how would I connect them to it thanks
The LVSW‑101‑W low‑voltage wall switch can operate with a 3‑wire system; however, the correct wiring depends on the specific device or relay panel it will be connected to. Because wire colors in the field don’t always represent the same function, it isn’t possible to definitively identify which conductor should go to each terminal on the switch without knowing the exact equipment and wiring configuration involved.
To ensure the switch operates correctly and safely, it’s best to contact Wattstopper Technical Support. They can review your system and provide precise guidance tailored to your application.

Do multiple switches require individual home runs or can they be daisy chained?
For the LVSW‑101, the recommended wiring method is to connect each switch in parallel or to run individual home runs. Daisy‑chaining the switches is not advised, as parallel wiring or dedicated home runs ensure proper functionality and consistent performance across all connected switches.

Is the LVSW-101 switch available in Red? if not is there a Red kit available?
Unfortunately, the LVSW switches are not available in red, and we do not have a cover kit available.

Why are the instructions for powering the LED on the switch not with any of the relay or switch documentation?
These switches are used with a variety of devices, many which do not have a Pilot connection. Please refer to your panel/control device documentation to see if a pilot connection is available.
If you need additional information for your particular installation, please call Technical Support at 800-879-8585.

can you tell me how to wire the LVSW-101 with 3 wire control , that’s on the BZ power packs , i understand i need to bring 24V to the switch and the switched 24V back to the grey wire on the pack , but this does not light up the LED on the switch
How do I wire the LED on the LVSW-101 switch to a BZ power pack.
This procedure will power the LED on the button of the LVSW-101
and keep it on continuously wither the load is on or off in three
easy steps:
Step 1:
Remove the J1 shunt jumper on the back of the switch to
separate the switch common from the LED common.
Step 2:
Connect the low voltage black wire from the BZ power pack to the
LED common on the right hand side of the back of the switch.
Step 3:
Connect the red low voltage wire (24VDC)
to the LED1 terminal on the right hand side of the back of the switch.
The LED should now be powered by the power pack.
