Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I am consistently having issues with this system. I keep getting an error message that says, “No Distribution Module Found”. I have had this system for only 4 years and I hardly ever play it. It should not malfunction every 3 to 6 months. This system cost wayyyyyyyy too much for this amount of technical difficulty. Shame of Ryan Homes for recommending this company and service. I have better service with just using a Bluetooth speaker.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SYSTEM I purchase a house 6 years ago and the builder works with Legrand, as a music fan i select 8 zones where I wanted to listen music. After two years the system when bad, when called Legrand they said the system was discontinued and no replacement system was available, in addition no other system was compatible with the zone volume control. I searched around my neighborhood and many home owners experienced the same situation. Don this product. I am now considering the Monoprice 6 source, 6 zone system..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Connection issues I installed brand new ON-Q system March 2020 to find out that connectivity is a big problem with the AU7000. For this day and age and the size of Legrand to have these app, connectivity, update issue is completely unexceptionable. Tried calling customer service multiple time with no answer during business hours. It should not be this hard.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Finally fixed I installed digital audio with AU7000 and AU7001 6-7 years ago and it never worked correctly. I finally got around to trying to fix it. Cust. support sent me a new password protected AU7000 and a new AU7001. I installed them and updated the app. It's been working fine since. If it continues to do so I'll bump up to 5 stars

Unfortunately, there are no replacement parts, or anyone who can repair the AU7000 or the AU7001, due to the Audio division that made our Digital Audio products shutting down back in 2021.

Can this system be connected to the Nuvo app? I can’t pair the system to the app.

Asked by: Cbc978
No it requires the Legrand Digital Audio app. I have installed at least a dozen of these systems. Poor life expectancy, and have had issues with the AU7000 connecting with the AU7010 room units. This can be remedied by hotswapping the cat5 on the AU7000 distribution module. And for the people having issues with the Digital Audio app saying "No Distribution Module Found" make sure you are on the same LAN and subnet as the AU7000 and AU7002, make sure you do not have the AU7004 installed, it is identical to the AU7002, but it say Lyriq Digital Audio on it, and is not compatible with the AU7000, it works with the older Lyriq home Audio/intercom, and when connecting to it thru the app, click on "I Have a Lyriq system" after it reports a failure to find a distribution module.

What is the interview audio interrupt plug for? I have the legrand selective intercom system also, does this port interface the two systems? The intercom system has an interior output port as well.

Asked by: schraids
Yes, the selective call intercom system interfaces with Legrand Digital Audio. On the IC-5010, one end of a Cat 5 cable is plugged into the Audio Int (short for interrupt) port. The other end is plugged into the Intercom Audio Int port on the AU7000. Make sure the entire system is powered down before you make any changes like this to your systems (both intercom and audio... turn everything off) and use a cable that is short enough to not have much slack between the plugs (or run it around the perimeter of your structured wiring enclosure—the box everything is in). When the system powers back up and is finished initializing, the effect of this new cable will be that whenever the “talk” button on an intercom station is pushed, or whenever someone rings a door intercom station, the Legrand digital audio will be muted across the system for about 10-15 seconds after the last talk button is pressed on the intercom system. While in this muted state, the digital audio amplified keypads will show the red mute LED and no dots on the volume indicator. The music then fades up to its prior levels and the audio continues as it had been doing before. It’s a cool way that the systems work together, and if you have both and like the idea of this feature, connect the two and enjoy. Legrand’s tech support is awesome so call them if you have questions

Can the Au 7000 and Au7010-xx be ran without the internet after initializing them or binding them with the app?

Asked by: THOMAS#1
The AU7000 needs the internet connection to show the available zones in the app.  I unplugged mine, and while the music continues, you lose the zones in the app.  Surprisingly, you can still stream from the AU7001.
