Hello, That depends entirely on what the amplifier supports. Most 70v amps won't work with standard 8ohm speakers but if the manufacturer of the amp advised that it will, then our speakers should work just fine! Thank you.

How would I hook these up in series to get maximum volume? They are not very loud, but sound good. I have a PA 90 Watt amplifier, and six are wired into a junction block. I am told that I need to add resistors. Thank you.

You'd need to use a Impedence matchin volume control, to allow you to change the impedence on the back via a jumper, allowing you to do more than one pair of these 8 Ohmz speakers. see model: AU0100-WHLA-V1
