1. What size are the knockouts at the top and bottom of the enclosure? 2. Can the enclosure be recessed mounted in existing drywall? 3. Can the enclosure be mounted “upside down” with the larger knockouts on the bottom?

1. 2 inches top. bottom knockouts are for metal electrical gang boxes. 2. Yes, but you will have to notch out the drywall as the enclosure fastens to the face of the studs, not the sides. Once fastened, you can repair the drywall notches. 3. You can mount it in either orientation.
