can the 861 be used to house a L7-30 receptacle? if so, what configuration is recommended?
Hello. No, the 861 box is not suitable for a 30 amp locking receptacle. For wood floor applications, you can use the 880W1 box, 817B flange, and 828DLR cover. That cover is designed for a single locking receptacle of 1.58" diameter. Thanks!

Can floor box #861 be installed prior to the finish flooring being installed? As in, during the rough in stage of the build. As long as the disposable cover cap is in place.
