Questions & Answers

Hello -  Looking to place plug mold under upper cabinets. electrician provided sample to ensure correct channel construction for plug mold placement. There is a large box at the end with larger profile than plug molding itself. Any options?

Asked by: Cecilia
Hello, Plugmold can be fed from the end through an entrance end fitting such as the one you've located with the larger profile or through one of the 1/2" knockouts located on the base.

Do you have one like this that can be plugged into an existing outlet? Or can a plug be added to the end?

Asked by: mel
Hi Mel, The Plugmold system is specifically a hard-wired plug in outlet center. For our closest cord ended options please refer to the link below. https://legrand.webdamdb.com/directdownload.php?ti=55656833&tok=VibU1lKoo3hWQKfaZhoGowRR If you need any additional information, please feel free to reach out to us directly at 1-844-957-3783, option 2 for Wiremold, followed by option 2 again for tech support. Do you have a housing elbow to allow the strip to be cut and turned around a corner of a wall?

Asked by: Mike
Hello, The elbow options are 2017TC (internal elbow, color does not apply), WH2018C (external elbow), or WH2011 (flat elbow). If the outlets are out facing the user you would need the internal elbow. If they are facing the ground you would need the flat elbow.

I just purchased Wiremold 36" Long 15 Ampere Power Strip Model: PMTR2W306. I would like to split the wiremold in half and use in 2 different locations on my island. I need to purchase all the accessories to be able to do that. Please advise. Thanks.

Asked by: Deanne
Hello Deanne, The PMTR2W306 is supplied with one coupling, two blank end fittings, one entrance end fitting, one cover seam clip, and three wire connectors. If you're going to cut them down, you may need an additional entrance end fitting (WH2010A2), and wire connectors (W30/W30G). Since you should have two blank end caps now, you may not need any additional, but if you do the part number is WH2010B.

Can the length of this unit be shortened to fit under a 30" cabinet?

Asked by: Veronica
Hello, This product is able to be cut down on site. You'll need to keep a minimum of 2 1/2" from the cut, to the first outlet (3" to center of the first outlet), to accommodate wire connections, and end fittings. Thank you,

Hi I am looking at the PMKTR in stainless steel. What are the dimensions of the strip? We want to use it in a kitchen peninsula. Thank you

Asked by: John
The PMKTRS306 kit has been replaced by part # PMTR2S306. The outlet strip in the new kit is the same as in the old kit. The dimensions of the strip are 36" long x 1-9/32" wide x 3/4" deep.
