Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works the same as a standard duplex I purchased these for a switched outlet. The only difference between this and a standard duplex is the logo on the front. You still have to remove the connector tab on the back to make it a switched outlet. I would think this would be removed by the factory. You are essentially paying extra for the little logo on the front, you can break the same tab on a standard duplex outlet.

Isn't it code to have switched logo on switched outlets?

Asked by: Brett
This Plug Load outlet controls both receptacles, which will turn off for energy efficiency and cost savings. They are code-required, meet standards, and include permanent power markings of the face of the outlet.
