When I shop online, there are often letters/ numbers after the official model number, e.g. for the TM870W switch, I often find it with "CP6" or "CC10". Can I be confident that I get the same TM870W switch regardless of these additional letters/ numbers?
Yes, it would be the exact same switch but in different packaging.

The black Legrand switches and outlets look like a dark gray matte finish which is nice, but I read a review that said they look nothing like the pictures and that they were actually a semi gloss or shiny black black. Can you confirm the actual color.
I purchased from Amazon, ordered both switch and outlets in black, definitely do not match in color or texture:
ASIN B017HAB4BO - Legrand radiant Self-Test GFCI Outlet, Black, 15 Amp, 1597BKCCD12 - flat/matte finish, slightly grey, matches what I see in the photo
ASIN B000NCTNJO - Legrand radiant 15 Amp Rocker Wall Switch, Decorator Light Switches, Black, Single Pole, TM870BK - black glossy finish, in my opinion does not match photo.
If either device matched the other I wouldn't mind which of the two finishes I received.

The required torque for the terminal screws is 14 to 18 inch pounds.
