Questions & Answers

What is the difference between the two models A/C and A/A?

Asked by: Anonymous
The USB Type-A ports have an insert that only allows them to be connected in one orientation. while the USB Type-C has a reversible connector, meaning a device can be plugged in either way. Also USB-A could only support up to 2.5 watts and 5 volts, USB-C now supports 100 watts and 20 volts easily enough for larger devices and faster charging.

Why doesn’t the usb plug all the way in

Asked by: Steve
This is by design seeing the plastic over molding on the USB connectors can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer so some may appear to not plug in all the way.
