Rated 5 out of 5 by lisha123 from Looks great 15A single pole switch in the color Nickel works great and replacing my current light switch with this one is easy to do. I like that it makes my living room look more modern and sleek. That the buttons to turn on and off the light is very easy to use. It's perfect for my house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gary from Great nickel rocker switches and outlets I looked high and low for rocker switches and outlets in nickel. They’re nowhere to be found locally, and the closest I could come to online was ten-packs of each, and I only needed six outlets and five rockers for my kitchen remodel. Then I thought, “Why not try the source – Legrand?” Sure enough, they had exactly what I was looking for in units of one. These “Radiant” products are top-notch in my book. They installed about as easily as one can expect from a novice homeowner like myself. And they look great with my nickel faucet, hardware, and other items. I only wish I was smart enough to order all I needed. After installing I found another outlet needing to be changed out. Oh well, now I’ll need to pay shipping on one more outlet. And by the way, my shipment came quickly and without any issues

Rated 1 out of 5 by Denisvh from Junk I bought a box of these switches at my local big box hardware store (only brand they sell). I have a twenty year old house and a few of the originals are cracked and showing their age. These switches look nice but are NOT made well. Three of the new switches cracked within a week. One of them as I was testing it; on,off,on,off, cracked. I’ve replaced a lot of switches in 40+ years of home ownership, and never had this kind of problems before.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jason t from Good switch but.... Bought enough for most of my house before they started having the name molded into it. Unfortunately now I have to by a inferior brand just to match the rest of my house. Also, where the name is molded give a place for dirt to accumulate.

Are these designed so you can attach 2 wires on the "external screw-pressure-plate" or are they only designed for 1 wire? Its the radiant paddle switch 3 way 15A.
You can attach two wires to the external screw-pressure-plate of the Radiant switches.

The black Legrand switches and outlets look like a dark gray matte finish which is nice, but I read a review that said they look nothing like the pictures and that they were actually a semi gloss or shiny black black. Can you confirm the actual color.
Mine were matte black. Not shiny at all.

I have exterior outlets that are switched from the inside. I'm trying to find a 20AMP switch in the Nickel color from LeGrand so I won't have worries to too much draw thru the switch. Being outdoor outlets, you could imagine plugging power tools in.
Here's what I would recommend. Use this 15 amp switch and install a 15 amp rated outlet outside. Most of the time, if you need 20 amp service to an outlet, switching it is not done. This is pretty abnormal. Our house uses 12 gauge wire (rated for 20 amps) everywhere, even with 15 amp outlets and 15 amp switches, but our breaker is 20 amp. The electricians did this since the wiring of the outlets and switches can carry 20 amps through it's terminals, but the 15 amp outlet won't allow any 20 amp devices to plug in. Since we have 20 amps per circuit, we can use up to 20 amps across multiple outlets, but not at one individually. It's odd that your house would have a 20 amp switched outlet, since most switched outlets are for lights. If you expect to use a power tool, you can remove the switch and wire the circuit together with wire nuts, or you can run an additional 20 amp suitable wire (such as 12 gauge) from your switch box to some new outlets outside.

Can you please confirm the switch is OK for use with 220V/50Hz?
The frequency doesn't matter. Switches like this are just a solid contact, no other tech inside them. Max voltage or current flowing through the switch is all you should worry about.

I first installed this product using the push-in method in the back. After doing some research i discovered the side clamp method is more reliable. If i use the release slot to disconnect the wire will the switch still be good to use the clamp method?
Yes, the screw and side clamp are unaffected by the push in.

I notice that this product (TM870W) is a 15A product, but our house has a 20A circuit. Will this work appropriately or is there a 20A version of this product I should purchase?
You can install 15A switches on a 20A circuit with no issues or concerns.

This includes the wall plate and the switch? For wall plates of 4 gangs i have to buy them separately?
Good Morning, Unfortunately, this doesn't include the wall plates. You will purchase those separately. Hope this helps!
