Simple but effective outlet/night
I’ve had these installed for about 2 weeks now and am pleased with the look and functionality. I like that I don’t have to waste an outlet space for a night light and that this night light has 4 different levels of brightness so it can be customized to the space. Install is just like an other outlet

Very useful, clean good looking design
We're using the Night Light outlets on the hallways between the bedrooms and bathrooms and it works great. We like the extra light covers that direct the light down on the floor and away from the eyes. Somewhat expensive, but worth the price.

Awesome product
I actually have a bunch of these all over my house. They are great in the kitchen and hallways. I also use them in the guest bedroom and the ability to adjust the light down or off is especially nice if a guest doesn’t want a nightlight.

Great design and the night light is wonderful
I bought this after experiencing this outlet and night light when we were on vacation year before last. Very pleased with the design of this outlet and the flush mounted night light is excellent. Will purchase more.

Problem with order
I got my three outlet night lights without the covers, even though the cart showed the outlet with a cover when I entered it into my shopping cart. I looked around for any option that might show that a cover didn't come with it and saw none. When I called called and mentioned this to a sales associate, they said it doesn't come with one, even though the carts shows one and if I wasn't happy just return it. Not happy. Also, I noticed that the night light louvered cover only works when the outlet is mounted in the vertical position. When mounted horizontally it reflects the LED out through the side of the unit. They should offer the louvers in either horizontal or vertical outlet positions.

I had this plug/nightlight installed in my bathroom about 2 years ago and love it. It appears the light has burnt out. Can the light be replaced?
The LED is not replaceable so the receptacle would need replacing and you can contact Technical Support and they can assist you with that.

The instructions for my NTL885TR say for my outlet to be control by a light switch to break off both tabs. The standard non-lighted outlet I'm replacing only has one tab broken. I just wanted to confirm that both tabs should be broken before I do so.
DO NOT break the tab on the “silver” side of the receptacle regardless if there is one or two white wires attached. You more than likely will cause an “open neutral” condition to the downstream circuit causing “dead” outlets. In most wiring situations where there are multiple receptacles on one circuit, the hot and neutral wires ( the black and white) are “daisy chained” together through the receptacles, black in black out and white in white out. The continuation connections to the downstream receptacles are made through those little “tabs” by each pair of screws. If you have a receptacle that is “split wired” top is switched, bottom always hot, then you break off the tab ONLY on the hot side, the gold colored side. Breaking the neutral (silver) side is NEVER to be done EXCEPT in special cases by qualified electrical personnel who understand the necessity for the neutral separation. As a master electrician for almost 45 years, I see SOOOO many home owner electrical mistakes that sometimes cause serious problems.. anybody who visits a “Depot Disaster” store should think twice about doing ANYTHING electrical related IF you do not fully understand the task being attempted. I do stay plenty busy with repairs though....

I was wondering if there is a way to have the night light stay on all the time? I wanted to use the night light feature as a "power on" indicator with the light staying on all the time. Nice feature BTW! But I don't need it.
The Nightlight receptacle does not have a override on the photoeye to keep it on all the time.

We installed the outlet. Radiant series 2 outlet with a nightlight. The light keeps cycling through 3 flashes and then 2 flashes. Cannot change or modify this cycle in any way. Cannot turn it off either.
I have a couple of these outlet/nightlights in my home. I have never seen them do what you are describing. My first thought is to double check the wiring for accuracy. It may be a loose wire.

Is the nickel finish available with amber nightlight?
I've installed three and have only seen white lights available.

Do y'all sell just parts? My 1y/o managed to remove and lose pretty much most of the clear plastic LED covers from the outlets in my house. Would be nice to be able to just purchase single replacement parts.
We currently do not offer replacement parts for the Radiant Nightlights so I would contact Technical Support for assistance:

This is the 2nd NTL885TR-WCC6 that I've installed in the same location. Both have not worked. Both come on for about 1/2 second when the light is pressed. Yes, the room is dark. It does it in all levels. Is this product inherently defective?
I have two installed in my house currently, one in a bedroom, and one in the hall. Both work great, never had any problems. Hopefully Legrand can help you out.
