Rated 2 out of 5 by from worked for a while, now can't connect to Homekit worked as designed for about 2 years. now it won't connect. tried all the troubleshooting listed. bought it for the brand reputation, but soured on it a bit now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost sent it back but it works now. The installation of this dimmer was beyond frustrating. The app kept failing and locking up in a multitude of creative and annoying ways. I lost count how many times I had to factory reset the dimmer until it finally worked. One day later it forgot all the settings and I had to start the dance over again. Several factory reset and setup attempts later, it finally started working again and right now it has been stable for 3 weeks. We'll see how this fares in the long run. Fingers crossed. It is the only plug-in dimmer with native homekit support, so I am glad it's working now, but they really need to improve the setup flow. There doesn't seem to be a way to update the firmware, so I am not holding my breath for any future bug fixes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent dimmer I had been looking for a reliable HomeKit dimmer forever. got one of these on amazon about 6 months ago and it's worked great since then. easy to setup via HomeKit. got a 2nd one a month ago from this site directly. I use them both for my outdoor patio lights- I keep them outside in a weatherproof plastic box to protect them. will definitely buy more if I need them

Perfectly dims the lights just enough to get my son to sleep! My son can dim the lights himself as well and he really likes being independent so it works well for our family. I hope to buy more when we build a house in the future!

What commands can be given, i.e. dim to 50%, full, etc. to manage through iOS?

I use this plug to control track lighting that does not have a switch. You can control it with Apple HomeKit or Siri. I have not had to use any special commands, eg. turn on Living Room Track Light to 50% works fine. If you have this Automated with HomeKit it will come on at the same percentage every time until you change it, then it will come on at that percentage.
