Rated 4 out of 5 by hayhayley from A Sleek and Hygienic Upgrade I was sent the Legrand Paddle Switch with Microban and I’m excited to *eventually* install it in my front bathroom given the high frequency of germs in such spaces. By inhibiting the growth of microbes on the switch's surface, it helps reduce the potential spread of harmful bacteria and viruses. This added layer of protection brings peace of mind, particularly during cold and flu seasons or when hosting guests. While the benefits of the Legrand Paddle Switch with Microban are evident, it's essential to consider the installation process. Rewiring a switch may seem daunting for some, especially those without prior electrical experience. I am waiting for my husband to install the switch to ensure a safe and proper installation. Pre existing wires need to be unhooked from the current switch and hooked up to the new switch- which is probably really standard, but I wasn’t expecting to have to do anything other than screw it into the wall lol! In conclusion, I do recommend this light switch for those seeking a stylish and hygienic upgrade to their light switches. Its sleek design seamlessly integrates into any decor, while the added advantage of Microban technology ensures 24/7 microbial protection.
