Asked by: jimmy
I don’t think so.  You can turn it on and off and control the speed.

Does this switch control the light on the ceiling fan as well? Would I need an additional switch for the light?

Asked by: Ricktahoe
The AAFN4S16AM4 is for the fan only so you would need a separate switch/dimmer for the light.

My fan's user manual warns that solid state speed controls should not be used with it to reduce fire risk. Is the adorne fan speed control a solid state type? If so, does the de-hummer feature alleviate the fire risk?

Asked by: Anonymous
The adorne Paddle Fan Speed control is a de-hummer, which is NOT Solid State.
