Before You Get Started

Before starting your installation, keep these key points in mind:

Always turn off power at the breaker panel to avoid shock or electrocution
Ensure your electrical box meets minimum depth requirements (generally 3–3.5 inches depending on box type)

Step 1: Remove the Existing Outlet
