horrible for office setting
This is horrible for an office setting if you work at a computer or are required to read/write for extended periods. The lights constantly turn off, requiring you to get up to turn the lights back on.

Questions & Answers
If the switch is not working on motions how do you set it to do so
Hi Bobby,
To set this switch to auto on when you enter, you have to put dipswitch 8 in the down/off position to enable auto on.

Replaced sensor switch w/DSW-301. Connected line to blk, grn to ground, capped ylw, and load to combo of blu/wht, red, neutral. Load is 120-wt LED driver. PIR flashes red, device "clicks" on/off, but no power to LED driver. how to diagnose?
Hi Jerome,
I suggest giving the wiring another look. You mentioned the load is connected to a combination of blue with white striped wire, red, and neutral. The wiring should be as follows:
Black > Power from your Service Panel
Red > Load wire to be connected to your fixture
Yellow > Traveller Wire (to be capped if used as a single pole switch)
Green > Ground
Blue with White Stripe > Connect to the Neutral (If there is no neutral present, connect along with the ground wire)
I would verify functionality at this point.

Does holding the button down for 10 seconds return this to operation as a regular light switch that ONLY works with manual button press? NO motion/light control or auto-off?
No, to put the switch/sensor into Service Mode (where it will function like a manual switch), simply turn the Ultrasonic Sensitivity trimpot to Minimum.

DSW-301, instructions don’t show a wiring diagram with a three way switch, will it not work that way or do have to have 2 -301 devices?
Hello,
The DSW-301 supports multi-way wiring, which requires multiple DSW-301 ( up to 4 sensors) to complete a 3-way configuration.
Best Regards,
Justin

can you install a dsw-301 occ switch along with a DT-305 ceiling occ sensor? with a bz-50 PP?
It is recommended that you chose one or the other. The sensors will not work in conjunction with each other.

I have 3 x 301's in a row. please post a wiring diagram for more than 2 devices in a row. Also when should use the walk thru mode ?
We do not have a diagram that shows more than 2 sensors. You should connect the primary switch, install the second per the diagram and then mirror the same with the remaining 2 switches. A short hallway that is not used often or a storage closet application are places where Walk through mode may be appropriate.

Can this be use on one side of a 3 way system with the other switch a regular 3 way>
Hello Cody,
The DSW301 Occupancy sensor supports Multi-way functionality for use with additional DSW301 sensors. The DSW301 will not work with a traditional 3-way switch and must be paired with another DSW301 for 3-way applications.
Best Regards,
Technical Support
