finally usb c inside an outlet
30 watt usb c charger in an outlet is what has been needed to get rid of all those chargers. This thing works amazing. Know that the plug is alot larger than the typical outlet you have in your house. Make sure the back box is big enough before you commit to changing the outlet. The outlet doesn't have a ground wire but has ground tabs. Those tabs require you have a wall plate that acts as the ground wire. The wall plate is tied into your ground through the house wiring. I am not sure I like the grounding and push in style outlet. With this type of cover plate the faceplate isn't tight to the wall and leaves larger top edge that will have to be cleaned. This is nit picking however it is a dust collecting edge.

The adorne Collection Ultra Fast+PD Plus USB -C Outlet by Legrand White 30W 15A 125VAC is such a useful piece of equipment. It fits your existing electrical outlet box and installs in just minutes. It has two three pronged main outlet plus and 2 USB ports for charging. It has a LED charging indicator light on it to make it easy to see if it is ready in a glance. It fits perfect with the adorne wall plate for the highest quality standard.

Questions & Answers
The charging port LED has started flashing rapidly (when a cable is plugged in) and it doesn't charge. If I switch to the other port, same results. I tried cycling off power from the breaker, but that hasn't resolved the issue.
Our expertise has been very positive. Would like to add a few more to our home. Long time customer of Legrand and recommend them to those that notice the upgrade. Possible a faulty unit.

If I have an existing two gang plate will this and a 1/2 size usb fit into it?
This will fit into the same two gang plate as a normal Legrand two gang outlet.

ARTRUSB15PD30W4 worked great for the last four months, suddenly USB C ports no longer work; however outlets still function properly. Is there a reset somewhere on the device?

Do the USB-C ports deliver 30 watts each? or combined? If I plug in one device to one of the USB-C ports, will it be able to pull 30 watts, or only 15 watts per port?
The USB-C ports provide up to 30W of total power for a single device connection. When two devices are
connected at the same time, the max power for each USB-C port is 15W.
