Rated 1 out of 5 by from This switch works irratically. When you enter the this switch turns on. Also it turns on multiple times when no one enters the room. I have replaced this switch twice in my house, and it still acts irratically. Whoever engineered this switch needs help.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sensor Switch Only switched to Adorne sensor for upgraded look with current sensor ( that was working fine). Could not get Adorne to work past test mode. Had to purchase another ‘on / off ‘ Adorne switch ( without sensor) to finish which worked fine. Went to website to trouble shoot and section of website was down dealing with the Adorne switch troubleshooting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it after 2 years! When we upgraded most our light switches and receptacles I decided to try one of these for the laundry room. It has been one of my favorite upgrades. It’s just nice to have and live with and I have not had a problem with it. It was installed about 2 years ago. Come to think of it, I haven’t had any problems with any of our Adorn switches I will say that occasionally I have to wave an elbow or, make an exaggerated move for it to turn on but I think that could be as much to do with how our laundry room is oriented than any deficiencies in the switch. As far as turning off it has always worked perfectly and I’ve never had it turn on by itself as was mentioned in another review. I will be adding more so I just wanted to take a minute and give it my recommendation. I almost took one star off for price but for something that has worked, in a sea of junk products these days, I can’t really take off any stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bathroom light victory These kids always leave the light on in the bathroom. It doesn’t matter how often or how I explained it to them. I basically gave up…BUT I declared victory with the motion sensor switch of Legrand! It works perfectly! Switches on when someone enters the bathroom, stays on while someone is there, and turns off after the person is leaving in a time you can adjust. Sure it is an expensive victory but I am not frustrated in that matter anymore and can focus on the other parenting stuff!

Questions & Answers

Where are the instructions for connecting in a 4-way configuration? The product specifications say it can be used as a 4-way switch, but the installation instructions do not describe that. I need 3 motion sensor outlets working together.

Asked by: Jkj2
A 4way application using 3 ASOS32's would be wired as follows(both Auxiliary sensors are wired the same): Master(has LOAD connected) • Connect NEUTRAL wire from the circuit and from the lamp (LOAD) to WHITE terminal • Connect LINE wire to HOT terminal • Connect LOAD wire to 1-POLE terminal • Connect TRAVELER wire to the 3-WAY terminal NOTE: NEUTRAL wire is not required for sensor to function properly. Auxiliary 1 • Connect NEUTRAL wire from circuit in the other wiring box to WHITE terminal • Connect LINE wire to HOT terminal • Connect TRAVELER wire to the 3-WAY terminal • 1-POLE terminal on auxiliary is not used Auxiliary 2 • Connect NEUTRAL wire from circuit in the other wiring box to WHITE terminal • Connect LINE wire to HOT terminal • Connect TRAVELER wire to the 3-WAY terminal • 1-POLE terminal on auxiliary is not used

After testing the switch by putting the trimpot to minimum, the switch now reverts to a shutoff delay of 5 mins even though I have the trimpot moved to the lowest setting before entering test mode again. How do I get lowest delay set?

Asked by: Jason
same here , I did try the test mode with the 5 seconds delay , after it got out of the test mode , still takes about 5 minutes to shut off :(

I Want to know if I do install this in a garage, and let's say I'm working in the garage and switch is not in a view of motion obviously it will trigger "Off" sequence since it does not detect any motion, but my question is can it be manually switched on?

Asked by: Peter G
If you want to cover a larger area to keep the light turned on, install two of them, one in each area, wired in parallel. Either one will turn on the light.

Does this switch need a ground and a neutral? I have no ground and no neutral in my 1929 home. I only have a hot (load) and a return to the main breaker. I want to install this inline by breaking the the hot or return. Can this be done using this switch?

Asked by: STARGATE
This switch works poorly. I recommend you do not buy it.
