Protecting against both electrical fires caused by arc faults and injury due to electrical shock, this outlet meets National Electrical Code for use in kitchens and laundry areas. Unlike AFCI/GFCI breaker alternatives, this dual-function device makes it easy to recognize and fix trips right where they happen. Maximize safety, in style, with AFCI/GFCI protection featuring the sleek, clean lines of radiant. 20A outlets are ideal for use with larger appliances, as well as to meet regional requirements (Chicago, Canada). GFCI protection is required by code in bathrooms, kitchens, garages, outdoor areas, and for any other outlets found within six feet of a sing or water source. Dual-Function outlets meet code for GFCI requirements and offer additional protection against arc faults, also required in certain areas for home sale inspection. Made exclusively for use with screwless Wall Plates from the radiant® Collection, sold separately.

Features

  • Delivers reliable arc-fault and ground fault protection, reducing risk of both electrical fires and injury due to shock.
  • Unlike breaker alternatives, AFCI/GFCI outlets make it easier to fix trips and confirm protection with two indicator lights and convenient reset/test buttons right on the outlet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Website has far more choices than big box stores I couldn’t find the 20amp AFCI/GFCI receptacles I needed at any of the big box stores. Not only did I get the receptacles I needed fast, but I actually got them for a better price then anywhere else. Fast shipping and great product. Easy to install and I really like the screwless faceplates that go on the receptacles & switches.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from don't recommend, wouldn't replace without unit. So awhile back I had this company replace the 3 AFCI/GFCI receptacles that stopped working. They did and it was fine. Well i had ordered a large order awhile back I can't remember now of 40 or so of them recepticles and 11 of them had buttons completely missing with springs and buttons all over the inside of the box. And the rest of them had cracks and knocks all over the receptacles just looked like poor condition. Now I don't know if it was shipping that caused the damage or the company but I can't get them to replace them without me sending them back to them to inspect. For craps sake like replacing 11 of your outlets for a LIFELONG CUSTOMER WILL REALLY FINANCIALLY DRAIN YOUR HUGE COMPANY. needless to say I don't recommend their customers service. Or their name..... They refuse to just make the customer happy. They messed up because I know many many big names in electrical and lighting conventions and expos that I go to... I always advertised for them and supported this company. No more.!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good device I installed numerous of these in my house and I've been very happy with them. It was a more economical way to get the AFCI/GFCI protection compared to the breakers.

With one of these devices, how many feed thru outlets can you connect downstream? Other than amperage, is there any other limitation?

Asked by: JackJ
The best answer is to perform the calculations for the specific application. By code for the 20 Amp unit, it is limited to a maximum of 12 downstream duplex receptacles (outlets)/devices. General applications typically do not exceed 3 downstream receptacles/devices.

When will the 20 Amp, or 15 Amp AFCI/GFCI be available in the Nickle finish? I have high demand for this product in my local area, but most want the nickle finish to compliment the areas of installation.
