Installing the TV2M-W recessed TV Box until I noticed the wall plate does not fully cover drywall on the high voltage side of the box. The wall plate only covers 1/2" on three sides leaving wall gap on high voltage side. Why?

Just installed this mount for my 65" LG TV and used Adorne outlets, keystones an wall plates. Would add a photo, but don't wee a way to do so.

Need Revit RFA for TV2MW. BIM zip contains wall plate covers but nothing for power/data connections or anything that shows up in floor plans.

Can this TV box be used in a masonry wall?

We don’t see how it can physically be used in a “masonry wall” as this usually means mortaring it in place with cement which would fill in the LV section. If you want to fasten it to a cement block wall and the AHJ would have to approve of this securement method.
