Best gang switch
Bought this switch to replace an existing lighted gang switch where the light failed. Added the optional RCDLM LED light and really liked the result. The ability to add an LED light is a great feature for the Radiant line. The ability to use a single or dual feed by a removable link is nice. This is a well designed switch!

Flawed ergonomic design
The switch itself is solidly built and the individual rockers have a nice feel, but I have grown to loathe the vertical orientation of the rockers, especially because there is absolutely no separation between the upper and lower toggles and therefore it is hard to distinguish by feel where one ends and the other begins. They are so close together that when I attempt to turn off the upper rocker I often end up turning on the lower rocker at the same time. Conversely, when I try to turn on the lower rocker I often inadvertently turn off the upper rocker as well. In my case this situation is exacerbated because I frequently try to operate them blindly, reaching around one side of the wall at the end of a hallway to the kitchen wall where they are located. While I readily admit that my tactile sensitivity isn't what it was when I was younger, I think even 20-year-old me would have a tough time operating these switches blindly without unintentionally hitting both at once.

Bad switch design
Legrand has reinvented a dual switch design for ecstatics by placing the vertical switching buttons above and below, but we end up constantly turning the bottom light on when trying to turn off the top switch. Will be replacing this switch with the better design dual s/w, horizontal switching above and below.

Worst design EVER!!
These paddle/rocker switctes are very POORLY designed..... Your "floating" screw design is absurd, especially if you are in the field. Having to turn the interrupter upside down to have the screw drop down so one can try and wrap your wire around the screw.... seriously. Also there is NO warning on the package to let you know that the screws ARE NOT REMOVABLE if you want to wrap your wire around the screw first and reinstall screw. Good luck if you inadvertently removed it.....you'll never get it back in.
Leviton, Lutron & others don't have this issue.
Refund is in order for sure.... redesign it...

Questions & Answers
Is the black a matte black or glossy?
To be honest, it is in between. However, it’s more matte than glossy.

Why does the illuminated locator light not work on these dual single pole switches? I've installed single switches with illuminated locator light that work but two of the dual switches w/ illumination lights do not work. Are there any tips to get them lit
The illumination on the Radiant combination switches is optional. You can add the RCDLM light module to the back of the switch if you want it illuminated when off.

What is the difference between graphite and black? At my local home depot they only had graphite in their collection, but on this website it looks like black is more popular. Is there anyway to get this switch in graphite to match what I bought at HD
I have attached an image of the Radiant Black and Graphite wallplates side by side to show the difference in color. Currently the stacked switches are not available in Graphite but we are planning on adding them in the future.

Can Legrand make a decent switch with a locator that you can actually see? Leviton, Lutron make a bright illuminated light switch. I like Legrand's satin finish , however they are missing the boat on lighted switches. Also make them here in the USA!
Thank you for your feedback on the Radiant design and it will be passed on the the marketing/development team.

The locator on this two single pole switch does not work, but the lights do when the switches are rocked. Any idea why? I have a single pole rocker wired next to this switch in a two gang box. All three lights work but only one of the two locator lights.
The illumination on the RCD11W is optional so you would have to add the RCDLM light module for it to illuminate.
