Features

  • Exterior Video Doorbell Camera transmits images from the front door to every Interior Intercom Unit installed throughout a home.
  • All Interior Intercom Units communicate with any other installed Intercom Units via audio (system limit of three).
  • Camera can be powered by its long-lasting battery unit, or through existing doorbell wiring. Extender cable included to allow you to easily mount the unit at camera height and connect it to wiring in the doorbell opening.
  • Includes a power cable for the Interior Intercom Unit, which must be plugged into an existing outlet. It can be surface-mounted to the wall, or placed upright on a tabletop with its easel back.

Let's say (hypothetically) I threw out the angled door unit mounting brackets and have now decided I need one. Can I get them separately as parts?

I have hardwired the doorbell from the video intercom kit, and have two monitors. got them paired and named, door chimes but no video at all --- and monitor button gives very poor quality sound from one monitor to the other. Any suggestions?

Try moving the remote stations closer to the video doorbell. If the video appears and the audio improves, then your issue could be wireless communication range. The maximum wireless range of the system is up to 200ft. line of sight or up to 75ft. obstructed. If you need further support, call (800)223-4162 Option 3 for technical support.

I currently have the legrand wired intercom system in my home. Is there a way to integrate the wireless doorbell/video system into the existing hard-wired "network" of intercoms we have already?

The AI6100M1 is designed as a "stand alone" system and can not be integrated with other intercoms.

Can two intercom units talk to eachother or only to the doorbell unit?

If your system has more than one Video Room Unit, you can call one of the other Video Room Units. In this example, I’m in the Kitchen and I want to call the Master Suite. Use the Up / Down arrows to move the highlight to the Master Suite and press the Talk/Select Button to communicate with the Master Suite

Must someone ring the bell for the camera to work, or can the homeowner view the area outside the door anytime? What area can the camera view, 90 degrees, 120, etc. Does the camera have night vision?

The homeowner can "monitor" outside at any time as long as the doorbell is hardwired in and not running off the battery pack. Camera: Day/Night Color CCD with 4 IR White LED and it has a 90 degree range
