Questions & Answers

Will a LC2203 work on a circuit with no other light switches?  Or do I need to use a LC2201 on the same circuit?   Correct me if I am wrong, but on a 3-way circuit I'll need both the LC2201 and LC2203.

Asked by: Diesel28
You need the LC2201 which is the master and the LC2203 if you want to create a 3way setup for the same light circuit the LC2201 is on. The LC2203 can not be used by itself without a master

I am lighting a large event room using 15 universal dimmers and a scene controller.I have 3 scenes (15 fixtures per scene). I need a remote switch at 3 different entry areas to correspond with controller. Will that work?

Asked by: Sparky221
The Remote switches can be bound to the universal master dimmers but not to the scene controller.

I can't install a three-wire between two switch locations. Does Legrand make a switch pairing that can act without a three-wire? That is dimming?

Asked by: ncompass
You can use a master dimmer(LC2101WH) and a remote dimmer(LC2103WH). The master is installed to the light and the remote just needs power(HOT & NEUTRAL).

What is the max range of these remote devices?

Asked by: Andrew
Good Morning, Typically, the device will reach out to about 100ft. You can also use an extender (MRR2G) to increase the distance. Hope this helps!
