Like the light, wish it matched the others better. We like the locator light. I wanted to match the fan controllers etc.that also have locator lights. The only reason I give 4 stars is the light on these switches is faint or dim compared to a Radiant fan controller switch or dimmer switch. Also, these are quite delicate. My house has 12ga wiring, it easy break these when tightening the screws.

Welcome to the 21st century! This is a great switch, I have replaced all the old switches in my house now. They are a modern alternative to the toggle switch design that has basically been unchanged since its introduction in the 1910s. The tiny light is the perfect amount to find it in the dark, while not being annoyingly bright. I wonder whether the other 1 star reviews are all from the same person, because its not possible that it scores 1 star in all three categories, quality, setup, and durability. I love these switches (and the matching outlets) and will recommend them hands down. I actually also use them with LED lighting without issues (I don't own any incandescents anymore).

Only works with legacy incandescent bulbsI see you have yet to figure out how to make the lighted dot work with new style lights/bulbs. Sad, given that there is 120 volts connected to it. Paid 5x the price- your BOX doesn’t clearly disclose this if at all. DO NOT BUY unless you’re still running Thomas Edison’s bulb from 100 years ago.

This Is Ridiculous...I made the hour-long round-trip to Lowe's and bought a ton of these to install. They don't light up. HOW ABOUT PUTTING IT ON THE BOX THAT IT ONLY WORKS WITH INCANDESCENT BULBS. I will be returning these and buying another product for sure now. (Plus I am now spending my time writing this in anger...time I will never get back.)
Purchased 3 paddle switches with the locator lights to replace 3 old light switches in a 3 gang box. The switches control 3 sets of fluorescent tube lights. Two of the locator lights work fine. One locator light is dim and flickering. Curious why? Thanks.

I’d try switching the questioned switch with one of the other switches to narrow the problem. If it works properly, then you know it’s the switch and I would take it back and get a new one.

Does the indicator light on these switches work when it is connected to an outlet which is used for a plug in lamp?
Asked by: Erin
Sorry this light indicator is designed to work with a lighting load not an outlet, even with a lamp or any device plugged into the outlet.

I have installed a Legrand 15/20-amp Single Pole 3-way Rocker Indoor Light Switch with a pilot Light. Pilot light working well with an LED bulb. Notice days ago that the pilot light is not lit when in off position. Changed to incandescent and nothing.
Asked by: Willie59
The switch is working correctly. A pilot light on is only on when the light it is controlling is on.
If you want the light on when the room light is of, you will want to look for a "Lighted" or "Illuminated" switch.
Hope this helps!

Hello, I’ve noticed that when I turn the light switch off sometimes the light will not illuminate. Sometimes it will be bright and sometimes it will be very very dim. What could be causing this?

Thank you for your question regarding the Radiant switch(model # TM870WSL).
This switch is designed to be used with Incandescent bulbs only so if you have it controlling any type of CFL/LED lights, it will effect the "illuminated when off" feature.
